Identifying Common Nouns
With these exercises, students strengthen their common noun identification skills. Students read each word in the thought bubbles and color the common nouns. Remember that a common noun names any person, place, or thing and usually begins with a lowercase letter.
Do not color proper nouns like specific names of people, days, or cities.
